About Trusted Parents
Trusted Parents has been serving families of those living with intellectual and developmental delays and other special healthcare needs since 2011. Helping over 2,000 parents and caregivers with supportive service, awareness, advocacy, and resources in Mecklenburg and surrounding counties.
What Makes Us Different
Does your child have a diagnosis of a developmental delay, autism, brain injury, or an emotional-behavioral-relational disorder? If so, we are here to help! It does not matter how long your family has been on this journey, if you feel there is a lack in the support, services, growth and/or change you believe is possible, it is never too late to receive the help you deserve.
Through a deeply rooted family-centered approach our services are developed to provide support to parents as they go through the demanding journey of coping with the daunting, but worthwhile tasks related to caring for their children living with special healthcare needs.

Join us, Saturday, October 18, in an engaging and meaningful conversation, where you will meet other parents, and share common experiences and ideas about being a parent and managing difficult behaviors like "Disobedience and Defiance".
Join us, Thursday, October, 23, for our next Parent Focus Group Meeting, as we discuss "Understanding Conflict"!
Parents will learn to define various approaches when dealing with conflict and understanding personal strength and challenges as it relates to handling disagreements.
We are now an American Red Cross Certified Training Site, offering CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification Classes.
